Envisioning Together

The envisioning process our congregation has undergone in the past several years identified "growth edges" that we continue to move forward on.  The pastoral team was formed with a clear mandate by the congregation to move forward the vision of "Justice Rooted in Spirituality, Making A Difference In Community."

The Visibility Task Force (VTF), working on the growth edge of their name, makes a strong presence at the annual Radnor Fall Festival in Wayne in September, wearing their signature red T-shirts asking "WhatisCBC.com".  The VTF also launched this new website to share our congregational life and ministry, and makes activities of the church available for local press coverage.

A second "growth edge" launched in 2006 is the Center for Spirituality and Justice, which has sponsored programs including interfaith conversation with the Islamic Foundation and Temple Brith Achim, and a spring meditation series.

In addition to these two growth edges, the pastoral team also initiated a ministry to young adults, collaboration with local groups regarding environmental issues, and planning for a fall concert series.
