Children and Youth at CBC


  • Children are given a nurturing and spiritually rich environment that stimulates and cultivates their natural sense of wonder and awe at God's creation.

    Toddlers meet for play and storytime at 9:30 Sunday.

    Grades 1-5  children meet for Godly Play at 9:30.

    Worship hour play and care is provided for children through grade 5.

    Library nook in King Commons provides take-home stimulation.

    Advent activities, including Christmas Eve pageant, bring together the family.

  • Youth are encouraged to question, test and explore their faith and their doubts as they develop a relationship with God and a sense of their own identity as spiritual people.

    Middlers and high schoolers meet for study at 9:30 Sunday.

    Youth fellowship meets at homes once a month.

    Producing a musical every other year brings together children and  youth.

    Camping and other trips accent the year of companionship.

    Special projects, such as the delegation to El Salvador, enrich the year.

  • CBC Youth Delegation to El Salvador -- In June 2007, seven youth and five adults took part in a delegation coordinated by CBC's El Salvador Partners Mission Group and the SHARE Foundation to visit our partner congregations in Santa Ana and Atiquizaya.  Our first youth-oriented delegation to El Salvador was in 2004. 
Childcare provided during worship services.
