The Board of Communal Life fosters the growth of the congregation as a caring and loving community in Christ through its practices, programs and initiatives.

Some of the practices of the board are to provide refreshments after worship, arrange for the Advent decoration of the Worship Commons, extend welcome to people arriving for worship, vote formally to receive new members, and recruit support circles for individuals in need.

Some of our programs are the monthly "Let's Do Lunch" following worship, an intergenerational game night, a Men's Retreat, Memorial Day picnic, and receptions for new members and attendees at memorial services.

Some new initiatives are the joint planning with the Board of Christian Education for a "Transitions" class, and a joint program of visitation with the pastoral team.
