Directions to CBC

CBC is located in the heart of downtown Wayne, a suburban community just 12 miles west of Philadelphia.  The church is one block south of the train station, near the intersection of Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Wayne Avenue.  See Yahoo map.

The main entrance to the church worship space is on Lancaster Avenue, directly across from the movie theater.  The church office entrance located in the back, across from the main post office and library on West Wayne Avenue, leads to the lower level classrooms, the Hall of Banners, and the upper level worship space.   The main entrance is open on Sundays and during special events.  The office entrance provides access to the church at all times.

  • By car via Lancaster Avenue / Route 30 to church parking lot

Take Lancaster Ave. / Route 30 into the town of Wayne.   At intersection with North/South Wayne Ave., turn south onto South Wayne.  Make an immediate right (at post office) onto West Wayne Avenue.  The CBC parking lot and entrance to the church office will be on your right.

  • By car via I-476 / Blue Route to church parking lot

From I-476, take the St. Davids exit. Turn left onto Route 30 (Lancaster Ave.) and go west approximately 3 miles into the town of Wayne.  At intersection with North/South Wayne Ave., turn left onto South Wayne. Make an immediate right (at post office) onto West Wayne Avenue.  The CBC parking lot and entrance to the church office will be on your right.

  • Arriving by train

Wayne is located on the SEPTA R5 Paoli/Thorndale train line.  CBC is 30 minutes by train from Central Philadelphia.  See www.septa.org for schedules.  From the Wayne Station, walk one block south on Wayne Avenue to Lancaster Avenue.  The church is on the south side of Lancaster, immediately to the right, just west of the corner.

Convenient parking is available in several locations:

  • Church parking lot -- During the week, most of us use the church parking lot located at the church office entrance on West Wayne Avenue across from the Wayne post office.
  • Parking meters --  On Sundays, the parking meters are free throughout Wayne and parking is allowed on both sides of West Wayne Avenue.
  • Municipal Parking Lot --  Many folks also choose to park in the municipal lot half a block away on South Wayne Avenue.  (See map.)
