SEPTEMBER Communion Offering

The September Communion Offering will go to benefit the Baptist Peace Fellowship of North American (BPFNA). 

CBC is a BPFNA Partner Congregation.  The BPFNA is a Welcoming and Affirming organization that states its mission to be a community that, “gathers, equips and mobilizes Baptists to build a culture of peace [while labouring] with a wonderful array of peacemakers to change the world.”  This summer, 24 CBC members including three youth participated at the annual BPFNA conference (“Peace Camp”) that focused on building a culture of peace.  The BPFNA takes peaceful action teaching peace-making skills around the world, advocating for changes in unjust policies, engaging in public witness and protest, and organizing an International Baptist Peace Conference.
